I took my Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit class here and I have to say I was beyond impressed. The Teacher was obviously an advocate of guns (which is no surprise) but his analysis and break down of the current state of weapons, applicable laws, and requirements was fair and balanced. He really cares about what he teaches and wants Guns to be in the hands of responsible adults. The class was informative, but entertaining. I will definitely look to On Target for my future needs in both weaponry and in furthering my education on the topic.

Great place to go to the range. Staff that I have dealt with have been friendly and knowledgeable. Always a great experience when I visit. Can't wait for the new location to open cause it's closer for me but will still visit both.

Friendly staff and good gun prices. Range is decent and not too expensive when you compare it to going to the movie theater or out to eat. I use the shop for all of my gun store needs.

No. On Target Shooting Sports is a subsidiary of American Security and Defense. We have a location in Murfreesboro, TN and a location opening in Hermitage, TN (Q2 2022).
On Target prices are $21 for a day pass, and has been in my experience the best value as far as time for price. Monthly packages start at $24.99 a month. You are able to shoot rifles (nothing more powerful than .30-06), shotguns (buckshot and slugs, not birdshot, and handguns of many varieties including several excellent rentals from common makes as well as some more unusual makes. All ammo is inspected before you shoot. Have fun!
Yes, you may bring your own firearm and ammunition. Our rifle limitation or ballistic cutoff is 308 Winchester or 30-06 energy levels. We also do not allow armor piercing ammunition or tracer ammunition to be shot on the range, due to safety hazards they present. All ammo is inspected prior to range entry.
No. We're still waiting on some Bul guns that we ordered at the beginning of last year. I honestly don't know what's going on with their importation but we've not been able to get any recently.

I love 380 ACP as a cartridge. As far as suitability goes, I think it's a very good backup gun cartridge choice. Take a look at the Glock 42. Personal bias but I love mine.
Yes. Our consignment fee is 15%. No charge if the gun doesn't sell. All guns once they are booked into our A&D book, can only be taken back via a federal background check being completed.
Yes but presently we can only allow frangible shot shells to be fired on the range. We're slotted to have a complete replacement of a range system sometime toward late summer and we will change the rules on shotguns afterward. Right now we stock RWS frangible shot shells for anyone who would like to shoot 12 gauge on the range.
$19.99 for one person to use one lane. $34.99 if two people would like to share a lane. All of our range fees are all day passes and are not scheduled by hour.
To shoot rifles on the range, 18 years old. To rent handguns or rifle rentals involving silencers, you'd need to be 21 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian.
No, friend. Memberships are purchase separately, either on a monthly or an annual basis. They're never included the firearm sales. We do appreciate you purchasing your firearm from us, and we would be happy to show you the memberships that we offer.
We have sold a couple of them at this point. Everybody seems to be happy with it so far. The G2C is always a good choice as well. We've seen a lot of time with those guns on the range, and they definitely got that one right.
Yes they do.A friend said their instruction is top notch.I know they do the normal conceal carry but I think they do pistol and carbine classes geared for offensive/defensive tactics.They have a upcoming class about treating gunshot trauma/first responder treatment.Hope this helps.
