Pricier than some other painting spots I've been to, and the paintbrushes have seen better days, but the staff was friendly. My group had a relaxing afternoon painting and our pieces turned out great.

The classes are on a schedule, but you can go in and paint on your own at anytime they're open
It is a crafty place. You pay a sitting fee. They offer of painting programs, jewelry making, and you can have a pottery painting party there. But name brand items will not be found in this setting. It is a more sedentary activity. It is fun to see the peices that your group paints. The before and after glazing will make a ton of difference in the appearance of the peices that the individuals choose. It's is fun if your group of friends or family like that sort of thing!
You should schedule a time and how many would be coming with you. There is a setting fee. You should check to see when they have specials for the setting fee. You pick out what you want to paint and the prices are in front of the item how much you would pay for the piece.
