I've been having RA symptoms for about a year now and was able to get into Carolina Arthritis Center about 4 months after my initial diagnoses, because of a new physician, Dr. Johannemann. He is new to the practice, but I tell you, he is not new to treating this disease (google him). I've had two appointments so far with him. He was VERY thorough, knowledgeable, and allowed me plenty of time at each appointment to ask specific questions. He listened my concerns and developed a plan of action that would be most beneficial for me. He did not make me feel as if my concerns or questions were silly. Honestly, talking with him was as easy as talking to a friend; even from the first appointment. I actually had a second opinion scheduled a few days after my initial appointment with Dr. Johannemann, but cancelled it as soon as I left his practice. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I know that I will be battling this disease for the rest of my life, but I am thankful I have him on my side along the way! Make an appointment now!
