A little difficult to navigate the entrance and was unsure which direction to walk when we first got there. Maybe a little more signage would be nice. Most of the cages were empty. We went on the hiking trails and got covered in ticks. Like hundreds. It was horrible when we realized they were all over us 2 days later. They need to have warning signs . Wishing I would've thought of that before walking around. Outhouse for a bathroom.

Beautiful park with a great mix of easy to moderate/challenging trails. We went in early November and saw turkey and deer while hiking. It's also fun to see the rescued owl. Will definitely be back.

If we raised a baby blue jay for about 3 weeks can it make it out in the wild by her self after about 5 weeks old since we have hand fed her.

Yikes, we definitely don't recommend people hand raising any wild animal. Even in the best scenarios, imprinting on humans as their food source is a real concern. Please contact a professional wildlife rehabilitation facility ASAP and get your jay where "fingers crossed" it'll make it back into the wild.
