I hired True Friends for a move today. I WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. They have over a thousand positive reviews but I noticed that some of the negative ones were about the company not showing up on time and getting the move done as promised. Before I hired them, I told them I noticed those comments and that I could not hire them if the move could not be completed today because I have no wiggle room in my move. I was assured it would happen. I hired a team of three for a large home move. I had three movers for only a few hours because one guy didn’t show up and one guy left. For most of the day I had two guys. Those two are amazing and should be the face of the company. JD - the supervisor - who kept me updated throughout the day on the failures of being able to complete the job is the reason I will never hire this company again. They did NOT complete the move today (because of having two instead of three), and JD said they would do it Monday. When they finished today, JD wanted payment. I said that I will pay when the job is finished on Monday. He was rude and talked over me and told his employee not to worry he would just run my card AND cancel the work on Monday to finish the job. I was treated rudely by JD - and you should know that if they do not do what you were promised before you pay JD will (at least threaten to) just “run the card.” Of course, I have recourse but wanted to give my review. I never write negative reviews, but this one is deserving. UPDATE: I got a call from the owner, Chris, who said he wanted to make it right. Instead, he defended the actions of JD and was also rude and condescending. There was no actual attempt to “make it right,” but instead was an unsuccessful gaslighting adventure.

Chris and DeVonte were polite and punctual. They called 45 minutes before they came and worked quickly to get the move done. They were careful with the items and showed any items that may have had previous damage before they moved the items.

I thought we couldn't have done better when we decided to move. The boys were positive and genuinely cared about me as a client. There was very little down time as they knew exactly what I wanted to be done. I would use them again...in a heartbeat! Very impressed job!!!
