Decent park area with access to the white river by foot. Plenty of room for multiple groups with an ampatheater and covered picnic areas. When the water gets higher it does flood but ok a good day it's great.

Park opens when river flooding not a danger. It’s near river you can walk to in the park.

Ok, this might be the wrong way to give five stars but I liked it so much today for two reasons: one is that the park is the land buffering the river from the town's homes across the street. The river is really high. They had to add more sand cubes atop the others to be sure that the people aren't under water. All of which comes #2 reason I liked the park today; it made the most beautiful scenery with naturals and native critters all over the water and patches of visible earth. It's nice for a park but just being there brought nostalgia to my senses Thank you
