Thankfully I didn't have to use Dr. Girardi's surgical expertise but rather saw him for a consultation regarding a return to work capability. If I did need surgery, he would absolutely be my choice. He made me feel very comfortable and took the time to speak with me and answer any questions. He is very intelligent and has an air of confidence (but not cocky) that again makes you feel extremely comfortable and allows you to relax a bit considering the incredibly important reason why you are there in the first place. Fantastic bedside manner which I am certain relates to his capability in the surgical realm.

My first visit was efficient, started time, and never felt rushed. Dr. Girardi explained the surgery for my aortic aneurysm carefully and covered post-operative care and recovery. Dr. Girardi come highly recommended to me and I felt confident in deciding to have surgery with him at Weill-Cornell

I have been fortunate that my Cardiologist Dr. Rick Pumill sent me to see Dr. Giardi and his team. After doing my own research and then meeting him for an evaluation I knew I was in great hands. Let’s face it he is one of the best in the world. Three weeks ago I had an valve replaced and one bypass. Of course like any patient I was scared and worried about what was to come after we set the date for my surgery. From my pre op consultation and my week stay in the hospital I was positively overwhelmed and grateful to have the most educated and humanistic professionals with a smile that took care of me as if I was their father, uncle or loved one. They listened to me asked questions to help me throughout the recovery process. They are an extraordinary team. Thanks to them I am here and my heart has never worked so well! God bless them!!!
