Fun place for Halloween
Denise D
I did not love the experience because of how insanely crowded it was. I know that staff cannot account for when season pass holders will show up but there should be a limit on the amount of tickets sold daily. There was so many people that they stopped the waves in the wave pool and getting a raft for the lazy river was not happening. The police were there because of so many missing/lost children and the chairs to lay out on were lined up touching each other so you had to climb up them from the bottom of the chair. It took 45 minutes to get anything to eat, and that was the short line. In addition to the crowd, the prices for everything was way too high. Not all of the attractions were even open. It was overall an overrated experience in my opinion. My son had a blast, so at the end of the day that is all that mattered, while most adults have to just grin and bare it I suppose.

There Halloween set up is a lot of fun

Was the best time I had with my kids

Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando, FL, is the best waterpark in the U.S. I've been and every person should be able to experience it lol
The Zoombezi Bay ticket also gets you admission to the Zoo, but not the other way around... check the Zoo’s website for details... www.columbuszoo.org .
What are the restrictions for child strollers/wagons? Can we bring packed lunches and pop?
Children under 3 free. Child(3 - 9)$26.99 online $23.99 General Admission (10 - 59)$34.99 online $29.99 Senior (60+)$26.99 online $23.99 Parking$10.00
There are few Hilton, Sheraton, Marriott brand hotels at the Sawmil and 270 exit. There is none next to the park.
The wave pool is pretty deep like 6 feet at the end. When waved are on it might go up 8 feet max. You can always be in shallow area where it is 4 feet or 3 feet..
They only do individual memberships. The zoo has the family memberships.
Yes, Hampton inn( Nearest one to the water park), Embassy suites, Double tree,
No lockers in bathrooms but changing area/hooks in stalls and shower area.
Yes
Yes if you want to be there before 3pm at 3 the park opens up so you can just pay at the gate and not need a ticket
It's a reserved time to get in. It's on their website when buying your tickets.
It is scheduled to open in July. Thank goodness lol.
No , it's a zoo & water park and you change in bathroom area
I used my phone to get in
It's honestly GREAT FUN Lines are a little long however well worth it. The wave pool is halarious
3.4 miles Hampton Inn Dublin OH
It depends on the kids ages & where you live. If you don't live in franklin county its $34.99 each for ages 10-59 but if you do live in franklin county its $29.99 also children 3-9 are $26.99 if not in Franklin county and if you are in Franklin county its $23.99. Children under 3 are free and Seniors ages 60 + are $26.99 if not in Franklin county but if in Franklin county its $23.99 its also $10 to park but you can get discounted tickets at Kroger.
She would be unable to go down any of the slides. Parents are not permitted to go down slides with their children (unless it’s a double/4 person tube) but even then, it would probably be too big of a liability to let your child go down.
Yes they do. You have to be get there in time to get one. First come , first serve.
Yes but you have to store it in the zoo they have a picnic area in the Z where you can eat
Cash and card for both. The locker is $10 for the entire day and large enough to fit 2 or more adults items. They are keyless which is nice so you don't need to keep track of a tiny key which is nice.
There isn't one. You can pay and just stay in this area all day.
Nope we spent the whole day there the other day and an entire day of rain and the lines were short and we got to ride every single ride about 30 times, only if it's lightning, will they close it.
If you get a 2 day ticket online it's 44.99 and that gets you in the zoo and waterpark. You can also purchase 2 parking tickets which is $10 a day. Getting there at 9 when zoo opens and 1030 when waterpark open is best you don't have has many crowds when walking zoo and you get good seats for water park
There are 2 types of tickets one does one doesn't.
$119.99 pase de la temporada $164.99 membresía de oro
good question
Small coolers (14"x14" and below) are allowed. Larger coolers are not.
Yes... Makes sense as once you get in... They as well as we know you can't just sit....
Yes, you can also use the lazy river and get on the floating balloons while carrying your baby and sail round the river.
You put the date on online
You can buy a ticket today and use it on the 22nd.
Yes there is a kids area and life jackets.
Yes if you buy tickets for Zoombezi Bay you also get admission into the Zoo
Check their website...
$31 for adults $25 for kids
I saw them by the wave pool but they were shut down.
Yes you can get tickets at the park. You will go to the ticket booth to the right of the entrance before going in the Zoo entrance. Just make sure the greeter there returns your tickets after scanning them in, because you will need them again as you enter Zoombesi Bay. Also, while getting your tickets, if going to Zoombesi Bay, make sure to let them know when purchasing the tickets.
4 to 7 ....
Yes. You have to purchase your tickets ahead of time online and also select the date and time of your visit.
I believe it was 23.99 for the kids and 29.99 for the adult plus 10.00 for parking
Yes
Or they are open for business May 25 to September 7, 2020
Yes. On labor day they are open 10:30 to 7:00. These are the hours from 31 Aug. Through 2 September.
They do have a number of concession stands throughout the water park. There's one in particular that we use that has chicken wings and fries, and pizza.
There are restrictions on what kind of coolers you can bring into the water park. However, there is an area where you can leave your cooler outside the park and you can just duck out briefly and get what you need.
Not sure was driving to busy paying attention to the road to notice.
Go on line for Columbus zoo and aquarium for all ticket prices and info
Zoo gold members 154.00 get in free child gold member 124.00. Season pass to just zoombezi 104.00 child pass 74.99. With the Gold menbership to the Zoo you can do anything and all rides are free.
Ya I didn't catch that until I went back to their policies
General admission is $29.99 that does not include parking which is $10
Plus $11. For the zoom pass, which I recommend bcuz the lines per ride can be a lengthy wait. I waited over 35min for the cyclone. With the zoom pass there is basically no wait and if so it's 5min or so
Same here never a bad day I actually just went yesterday & even though there doing construction right now there doing a great job of concealing it & the ppl are very friendly for being so close to cols
Most ride requires swimming shorts. And shirtless. Any loose clothes can get caught on slides and other things.
Yes
Yes, ZoomPasses. You pay extra and have a wristband to schedule your ZoomPass time for each ride as you go along. ZoomPass can be purchased inside Zoombezi (doesn't have to be purchased at the front gate).
Yes and a shuttle to get you from the parking lot to the entrance.
Some of the lounge chairs are under large(around 15' wide) umbrellas or trees for shade and there are cabanas and shelters that can be rented.
Pretty sure there is
You have Jack Hannaland with dry rides & the zoo...but Zoombezi Bay is all water.
Mondays and Wednesdays
Just opened probably beginning of week I would say
It beside it...same entrance, same parking lot.
Possibly look into ordering the tickets online and then giving them as a gift. They usually run discounts and deals throughout the summer.
If he's going through transition I would believe he would need to wear a top if he has breast
I recommend the gold pass... It is a 365 day pass that includes both Zoo and Zoombezi Bay admission, as well as parking, Jungle Jack's Landing, and all the fun extras like train rides, the Dinosaur area (boat ride), & Stingray Bay. The gold pass is $125/ea but if you want to have unlimited access to everything the zoo offers, it's totally worth it! It also covers Boo at the Zoo & Wildlights
They will be open 7days a week after Memorial Day.
Best to wait till it stay nice its fun but baby area is only warm water
There prices are high
Check the website it should have all that information
nothing
Tons, there's an entire section just for kids
Yes, I think from April to September or October. The calendar is on their website.
It's in powell ohio
10:30 to 6 right now
size for what?
Anywhere from $150 to $250 for the day, but they are nice and so worth it. You have a table & chairs under the roof and a few outside around a fence. Plus, you have a fridge, complimentary waters and a safe.
Yes some of them say u cant but i do
Yes. Just to add, two day admission tickets can only be purchased at the gate.
About 30. All water rides are included. Dry rides are at zoo, and cost per ride. If you get a coupon at Wendy's, it's buy one get one thru 7/31.
I couldnt tell you what day but if you're planning on one of the summer night fridays, I'd come after 8pm. People leave around 830pm
You should go on their website and look for the prices because prices vary according to age. It may be cheaper for military personnel. I bought mine at the Kroger up the street so that I didn't have to wait in the VERY LONG LINE! You can also buy them online to avoid the long line.
Yes, you can visit the zoo
You can find prices for both zoo members and non members on the zoo's website
Please go to the Zoombezy bay sight and read the rules. You can't wear tshirts but people wear all kinds of things. But there are rules. Call them if you have a question. I believed you will be fine in the swimsuit you describe .
Parking is 10 dollars online, buy a ticket and print it out along with your admission ticket for the actual waterpark. Makes it quick and easy to enter.
It's all separate you have to pay to ride the roller coaster
Yes, there are rides that are not just for kids. Several slides are fairly intense, and fun for all ages. There is also an adults only version of the Lazy River that serves alcoholic beverages on the ride.
Tickets are sold at the main entrance, after entering you turn left and walk to the official zoombezi bay entrance. Keep your ticket with you until you get there so they can officially let you in.
It doesn't look like they have anything different listed on their website. They are probably running the same hours. They have a few different dates listed when hours are changed or when the park is closed, July 4th isn't listed as something that is changed.
There are 2 new slides with very deep pools but other than that most are only a couple feet deep. Lazy river is waist deep & wave pool gradually goes to 6ft. You should be totally fine... Just stau in your comfort level.
They will keep everything running until it lighnings. Then 30 min after last lightning they restart
Keep receipts and get stamp
8/10 due to prices of food and drinks!
Email should have receipt and you can access online tickets from phone
Hi Kathy sorry zoombezi bay is not free, but the zoo is on father's day.
You actually have to go through the zoo to get in the park. So admission covers both

Yes 10$ for the whole day. And if you have a membership, parking is free.
Best time to buy is for the following season,...so after the summer of 2018 if you purchase a pass for the 2019 season by the end dec 2017 you save $20 dollars per pass. Child pass will be 54 and adult 84.
Call them and ask for clear idea

They have a trolley to shorten the walk. People will complain just to complain
Saturday, May 19-20, 24 onwards. Check their website for more details.
It's $104.99 per adult pass for zoombezi and $74.99 per child. It's 99.99 per adult for the zoo and 69.99 per child. Zoo passes can also be used to enter zoombezi so I don't get why you wouldn't just buy those. I've also heard if you buy 3 Gold Zoo passes you get one free but Gold Adult Passes are 144.99 for Franklin county residents and child 114.99 for Franklin county residents. The Gold basically lets you do all the rides for free and animal feeding for free. They also give you some things I've never used like a discount at safari golf, discounted entry to other zoos, free entry to their 4D theater (I don't even know where it is), priority registration, invites to members only events, and members magazine.
At the zoo, it's a sky blue shirt and a navy blue pants. But a zoombezi-bay I'm not too sure, maybe same thing.
See the animals on the zoo and play on the water park
And season passes work out cheaper, if you will be going more than few times.
Hours for the 2017 Zoombezi Bay Season are: DATE HOURS EVENTMay 20 - 21 10:30 amto 7 pm Opening Weekend May 25 - 26 9:30 amto 6 pm Special hours for Zoombezi Bay Education DayMay 27 - Jun. 8 10:30 amto 7 pm Jun. 9 - Aug. 13 10:30 amto 8 pm Aug. 14 - 18 10:30 amto 6 pm Aug. 19 - 20, 26 - 27 10:30 They are closed for the season NOW.
