I have one speeding ticket on my record my whole life and I got it last year in Washington Co on my way to Wv because of a family emergency. I recently got my CDL and really needed to get the ticket reduced so I could get a very good job to provide for my family. I was told to write a letter explaining why I needed it reduced. In the end I was denied my motion and wasn't given a reason. I thought something as simple as a speeding ticket would be easily taken care of due to my clean record and my circumstances. The judge must be on a huge power trip like most with any kind of authority. I hope the judge falls on hard times and he or she finds it difficult to find a decent job and someone who could easily help them just doesn't. If I were related or friends with their family I'm sure it would have been taken care of. Sad but true.

Google marietta municipal court and click on public access. It probably won't be updated yet today though....
Civil suits should be on file at the common pleas at the circuit courthouse on the corner 2nd and putnam if over 15 thousand or small claims court depeninding on the amount of the civil suit at the municipal courthouse. I know there is computers to look up files right before you get to the clerks office at the municipal court but you might be able to get more information from the clerks office for these two courts depending on the level of the civil suit.
