Krysten, I highly recommend The Gentle Dentist! I see Dr. Baker specifically and she's absolutely wonderful. They really work with you to decide on the best care for you, but don't push unnecessary procedures.
They have different options as far as anesthesia goes and being put to sleep is one of them. I've had my tooth pulled by them and it was one of the most relaxing and reassuring experiences I've had at the Dentist. You will love them!
Give them a call, very friendly staff. They take care of my whole family. They say you should take children within 6 months of first tooth erupting!
Your still awake. They give you nitrous oxide, so you're very relaxed.
