I was disappointed to discover that I will be charged a $50 appointment cancellation fee after getting a stomach virus and missing my simple $100 appointment. Upon first registering, I signed a contract stating that for all future appointments cancelled would involve a $50 fee. Reluctantly I signed it; it was an odd way to begin our relationship, but I obliged. I woke up the day of my appointment with a stomach virus. Yes, my appointment was confirmed 24 hours prior, but projectile vomiting was an unforeseen occurrence 30 minutes before my appointment. I had my assistant call them hours later to let them know I was sick, but the receptionist told her that I would be charged $50 regardless of being sick. Take your business elsewhere if you are looking for customer service and a medical office that doesn't encourage sick patients to infect others.

What’s involved in the VeinGogh treatment?

They first clean the area to be treated. One of their VeinGogh specialists then uses a very fine, insulated needle to administer the treatment just beneath the skin surface. The needle delivers high-frequency electrical energy to selectively targeted spider veins. Because the procedure uses a hair-thin probe, you will only feel a slight “pinch,” if anything, and the skin won’t be harmed. Some patients report that the treatment feels similar to a hair being removed. The tiny problem veins are destroyed and disappear quickly.

What’s involved in microphlebectomy?

They will mark the veins to be treated and then numb the skin over the veins. Your Total Vein Care doctor will make tiny skin incisions (“nicks”) and use a small hook to locate the problem vein and bloodlessly pull it through the skin to remove the vein. Your doctor will repeat this process for all problem veins. You may feel a slight pulling sensation during treatment but shouldn’t have pain.
