You can call the toll free soc security number and change it threw the main head quarters or take proof of new residence to the social security office in your local town and they will change it right there in their system

Yes. They will give you a temporary card until your card comes in the mail
If you r the parent then take ur ID. If you know the child's ssi # give it to them and take the original birth certificate. Or go by the health department nd get a form from them nd send through the mail.
From what I understand, you have the option to have federal payments taken out. Now if its taxes, I'm really not sure.
