Always a great experience. From strawberry picking to blueberries to pumpkins and apples in the fall, it is so great to support local. Kids love the hayrides and feeding the animals. Only suggestion would be to have an express line for food so as not to wait through the whole store.

They have organic strawberries, delicious cherries and tart cherries! They have a great area for having a relaxing time with your family, next to the animal barn. The only negative point is that if you overload the box, they would be mad at you and wouldn't behave well!

We had been here a few times for the farm store (which is awesome) but today was our first day picking fruit here. It is impressive! Lots of varieties of apples to choose from (depending on what's ripe, of course). The bags have descriptions of the different varieties and what they're good for (baking, eating, both, etc). The orchard is extremely well managed and the staff are friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the option to ride to the orchards or walk. We noticed on the way back that the not-hayride thing has a wheelchair lift on it as well. The goats are also just so cute!

No dog's allowed. They have signs posted all over the farm.
They mentioned a half day on the 4th. Check their website the evening before and it'll give you the info you need
It'll depend on how much ripe fruit they have. They'll post on Facebook and leave a message on their machine for picking conditions each day
You need to call the farm directly or you can get that information off of their website. You also have the option of signing up for their email list. They send out information on which fruit picking season is coming up. It's an awesome place. Been going since I was 8 years old. Im 46 years old now. Place just gets better & better.
No sorry you have to check Facebook or call the picking line it may change depending on weather
Bags are 30 for the peck and 40 for the bushel. Peck gets up to 4 in bushel up to 6
It is a giant farm so it is safe to say that the whole place is handicap accessible. It can get difficult with the grass and gravel, but doable.
Yes
A month in refrigeration
Confirmed, 75 cents a pound. And you only have to pick them up, not actually pick them from a growing field
They aren't in season. Check their site for picking seasons, reservations, and prices. http://tougasfamilyfarm.com/
Depends on the day mostly yes but sometimes no.
We are currently picking a Blueberries. Cherries are finished for the season. Please visit our website for up to date picking information http://www.tougasfamilyfarm.com
Yes they are ready
Do you mean handicapped accessible?
Those are Blondee I believe. They are very nice, a close cousin to Gala
Yes if you are going for the picking. Shop, play area & petting zoo is free.
They keep a picking schedule on the website. If suggest going there for the most up to date info on which types are in season which weeks.
We grow Blackberries but no raspberries.
The ticket is 7 per person. You pick fruit and then the admission fee is applied to the cost of fruit you picked. For example..3 people, $21. So you can essentially pick $21 of fruit and walk out because your admission of $21 pata for the fruit you picked. If you pick mor fruit than admission fee than you just pay the difference at the time of weighing
Agreed, they probably wont answer any questions on Google, you'll need to at least call them and speak to someone directly or go there.
Late July. But always check the website for update.
Strawberries are next sometime in June. Then blueberries and cherries. There is a helpful harvest calendar on their website
They open at 10am. Use social media instead of phone to reyaxh out
Age is not an issue. As Rick notes, it's the number in your group that matters.
depending on the season, i believe they have a few variations of raspberries, peaches, apples, blueberries and cherries. best bet is to call them before going or to find out when things come in season.
Check out the website and of course call before heading over.
It's $ 30 per bag.
Yes, cherry picking is generally in the last few days of June to first week of July.
They update their Facebook site daily with the latest picking information and whether fruit is ripe for picking to be open
Yes they are
Check Facebook
40 for the big bag with 6 wrist bands and 30 for the little bag with 4 wrist bands. Each person needs a wrist band to get in.
No fee for parking or general admission. If you pick fruit there is a fee for admission that is credited against the charge for the actual fruit you pick. Very fair and the experience was excellent.
Generally they are open on Sundays but sometimes they close to let the fruit ripen. So if you're not very local it's best to call to make sure they are open and what they're picking.
For fruits like blueberries, cherries etc, entry in 2017 were 5 per person which will apply to the produce you buy. For Apples/peaches, you have to buy a bag first. A big bag allows 6 person entry; small bag allows 4. Each additional person is $6.
