George's clam chowder (both New England and Rhode Island) was delicious! The clam cakes were good. I wasn't blown away by the sea scallops nor the lobster roll.

Casual dining in a fantastic location! I've been dining at George's for decades and always enjoy the experience. Great staff, great service, great food, great prices. You can enjoy the beautiful sunsets too! It's perfect for families, friends, date nights, and client lunches. I highly recommend!!

Best seafood I've found in RI!!! Open even in the off season, friendly staff, delicious food, great atmosphere, generous portions, and a champagne toast at sunset. This place was a sheer delight! They were kid friendly, and very accommodating!

Absolutely love and recommend George's of Galilee. The last time I was there I overheard someone say "I'm treating myself, I'm at George's" and that could not be more true. Year round it's a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. Options for all, a lot of seating, and in the summer they offer beach service. They do have parking in addition to conveniently being located next to public parking. Enjoy a great meal and watch the Block Island ferry sail by- you will not be disappointed. pictured: hurricane calamari and b & brie sandwich

1948 menu is on their website. Clamcakes n chowder have no restrictions. The other 1948 menu items require an entree purchase. It is for dining in only. Its available every day this month!
Was there 2 weeks ago and bought a clam strip dinner there. That was $18.99.(Worth every penny big portion!) So id guess whole belly dinner is between 21-23.99
We have a ramp to our first floor dining room. Our second floor is accessible by stairs only. If you have any other questions please give us a call at (401) 783-2306. Thanks!
Hello! Our current safety practices are: Everyone must wear a mask when entering the building, and when walking around the building. You can remove your mask while seated at your table/at the bar. We offer hand sanitizer when you enter, and your server/bartender carries a bottle on them for you to use as needed. All tables are spaced 6ft apart and sanitized in between uses. We have adequate spacing to provide you with a *very* distanced table upon request (as we have 3 dining rooms open). Our bars are open with plexiglass around the bar and in-between patrons. We sanitize common areas such as lobbies and restrooms every hour. As for our staff, they are required to wear masks at all times, and we screen them for symptoms and check their temperature at the start of every shift. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our first priority!
I didn't think there was a time on it
Its always important to be comfortable.
Yes I believe there is when you go into the inlet
George's is in Galilee, RI. They have a website and I am sure you can find their beer offerings there.
There less expensive and you can sit by the ocean
Valet parking was free when I went, just behind the restaurant.
You can contact them via facebook or you will need to stop down and purchase it there
George's does not have overnight accommodations but there are hotels in the area quite a few but you'll need to secure a room in advance way in advance to hope for anything in the summer
Go there and find out but I must assure you it will be worth the trip their food is the best I the entire east coast you will not be disappointed !!!
Probably do
