We stayed here for our 50th anniversary because our Granddaughter made arrangements with the owner for us to have a specific spot, because she stays there every year for the 4th of July and has for many years and we thought that would allow us to get a spot close to the water for the views. The owner told our Granddaughter that she would certainly comply with that request. A week before we were scheduled to arrive our Granddaughter contacted Susie by phone to make sure that all arrangements were still on track and Susie verified that it was all arranged. Well when we arrived, Susie did by not even act like she knew who we were and placed us in a location far away from the original location and between two other trailers that were parked so close that we could not even open our awning and barely our slide out, no sewer connection, ( as was previously arranged) and no access to a picnic table for being outside. Needless to say our celebration that was supposed to be a wonderful thing turned out to be very disappointing to the point that our Granddaughter has vowed to never stay here again in the future, which is sad because she has been doing this for many years. The facility is also terribly run down, has many long term guests that do not help to maintain the location, so be wary if you plan to stay here as you do not get the value for your money spent

Well I called originally to find a place to park a 28 ft trailer for myself, (senior citizen) & my service dog, (my 19 yr old wiener dog, been with me since birth) & it didn't matter where it was out hear, cuz everywhere I called,(& I called em all) I was met with a couple obstacles. All of them had the first one, which was "summer time rates are either daily-or weekly. 🚫 no monthly rates, especially with the 4 the around the corner. That's the time of yr they make there $. . . I'm not one for holding up anyone from making a buck. . . & The second one was the age of the trailer, (it wasn't 1990's or better)no matter how good the trailer is, looks, or whatever. . . Which they all had a problem with. . . I guess I just don't understand that kind of 🤔 thinking. I mean first thing is to me $is$ it don't matter who's is greener, who's is newer, $is$, & second if it's structurally sound, not an eye sore by any means, then what's a guy to think 🤔? Idk guess I missed that day in school?!!!

Great place for a little R & R . fishing here is great ,The people here are the nicest, the town is one of the best town I have ever been in...and Suzie is so nice and she's happy to see you and your family come back year after year 😁😊😀

First impressions will likely turn you around.. BUT this park does have full hookups (not all with cable), men and women bathrooms with one shower each. There is no WIFI. This park is packed during fishing season and sparse the rest of the year. They only take cash or check so be prepared. All the spots are on a compacted field and all are mostly level. Suzie is there to help all hours of the day if you have any problems. This location does not have many if any family residents, mostly retirees who love to fish.
