Update.....-10 would be my new rating. As you can see I really loved this place and spent $5000.00 within a two year span here. My first purchase was for 13 Thuja Trees, My second was for 5 more Thuja trees. A year apart. They were supposedly guaranteed. Which is why we purchased them from Aspen as opposed to purchasing them online, which were cheaper. I called on April 4th to let them know that one of the trees was diseased and didn't make it. I told them the truth that the tree was from the first bunch that I purchased and was told that that tree was out of warranty by 4 days, but that I was welcome to come and BUY a new tree from them? "I asked Debbie "now what would make you think I would ever buy anything else from Aspen" Grrrrrrr. Is the lesson here that I should have lied (which I don't make a habit of) and told them it was a tree from the second batch that still had 10 days left on the warranty? Or perhaps the lesson is that when we saw that the tree was having issues we should have not waited to see if it would recover? Maybe the lesson was buy the trees online and save money? With this kind of customer service I have no doubt they would have come up with an excuse to not guarantee the second batch of trees either. All 17 trees planted in same soil, same conditions are doing fine except for that one. I will never shop there again.

I always pre-order my hanging baskets in the early Spring and pick them up around Mother’s Day. Excellent quality and I get many admirers complimenting my on how beautiful they are!

I love everything about this place... Hidden off Seltice on Commerce Loop as you head just east out of Post Falls. The garden stock is beautiful, healthy, well organized... Great trees. The staff is knowledge, helpful and friendly. A huge plus is the guarantee.

Lots and lots of great selections, fruit trees blossoms smelled fantastic, I bought myself several fruit trees and blueberry bushes at a really great price, had really good service. One of the employees found out for me which trees could pollinate with one another, and some of the other help tied up the trees for me and load them into my truck. If I had to work at a nursery it would probably be Aspen. And I will definitely be buying from them again.

Unfortunately, we are currently out of Tamarack tree form. We are not expecting any more until spring of 2022. We do have a weeping version of the larch if you have the room. Thanks for your inquiry.

I thought they do, but it's always best to call them and see what they have in stock.

What is the purchase price of a hanging basket like the ones you see around town?

Susan Melhorn | May 25, 2021
Aspen Nursery (Owner) | May 26, 2021

Our 16" are $79 per basket and the 12" are $59. We use special imported soil and designer plants that bloom profusely over other brands. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the cda downtown association for taking such good care of their baskets. Even though we pour our lives into our plants it still takes careful watering and fertilizing to make them great! Feel free to contact us around April 1 for pre-ordering.

Sharon Dahlstrom | May 26, 2019

Hello Sharon! I did a field check and we have Himrod, Canadice, Reliance and Concord and all of the varieties are seedless. They are second year established grapes for us and should produce this year if planted in the spring. Thanks for checking.
