I could have given it a higher rating because my wife liked the steak she had, but my meal was less than satisfactory. I ordered from the October fest menu and decided to order the liverwust sandwich and the potato pancake. For an $18 sandwich I would have expected a deli style sandwich. Instead there was a few pieces of liverwust, the rye bread was stale.and the potato pancake was battered like a fish & chip batter. Never seen that before. I tasted a lot of bread crumbs and no potato. Although my food was bad the waitress service was excellent. You have to separate the service from the kitchen. Otherwise I would have given 2 stars.
