Great campground in general. Close to some good hikes and good location. Bathroom was also stocked with LOTS of toilet paper. As with most other campgrounds, no cell reception.

Awesome little campground. Reservations are required for this site. Rangers roll try through the AM and ticket those who don't have reservations. Nice bathrooms and easy access to climbing.

Another gem inside the park! There is definitely more moisture in this part of the park in comparison to other dry camps like White tank. This is a different feel and you camp next to the massive rocks. You can even climb them if you like. The camp ground is surreal and picturesque.

Solid camping spot, the best spots here are on the perimeter, so you're not in the space of others camps, and get unobstructed views of the area. Being close to the Headstone climbing rock is a huge plus, we woke up extra early to be first on the rock, super important if you want to climb in cool weather. Otherwise you're stuck waiting for larger guided groups to take over the rock, and waiting turns. If you expect a first come first serve site, I'd recommend getting there some time Thursday for the weekend, Friday everything is usually taken.

No running water or flushing toilets but they are kept up very well.
There are a few sites one would fit, if they're open.
check Joshua Tree National Park website. Due to many visitors the park has made changes to campground bookings.
