Tried calling several times to make a reservation and they never picked up the phone. Finally, 2 days before I realized only way I could do this was online. The next day I get a call telling me the truck isn't available and the woman basically told me unless I called them directly the website reservation guaranteed me nothing. I told her I had called multiple times and her response was she had been very busy with customers. I then have to scramble and pay last minute prices from somewhere else. Complete joke.

I made a reservation for a truck on the Penske website. As I called the place to verify my rental, etc. The guy informed me: “We have no vehicles at this location. All our vehicles are in other locations”. Yet, the site guarantees its reservations with the vehicle reserved at the particular location. I was then referred to the Chelsea location. The guy there wanted to charge me $200 to start with, even though I already had a paid reservation. He said: “This is Chelsea!!”. Funny! I thought it was Penske. 😐

I rented a cargo van from the Penske location at 11 W 141 Street and my experience was great from the moment I walked in to pick up the vehicle up until the return.
