Terrible apartment complex. Double charged for the 1st months rent. Overcharged for the electric bill several times. Given a nasty flea infested apartment that they didnt even bother removing the flea bombs before move in. We complained and were then moved to another apartment which was a little better. Maintenance took forever to fix problems with the dryer with the proper forms and requests filled out. On move out they have a list of stuff that needs to be done or they will nickel and dime you on every thing not done. Which tells me they dont actually clean the apartments for new tenants they expect the previous tenants to do it for them. And finally if you turn your key in 30 minutes past their deadline on move out day they charge you 150 bucks. In my opinion its 1 of the worst apartments ive ever heard of and do not recommend anybody renting there! Id give a negative 5 stars if i could!

Uptown is a nice place to live. The amenities are awesome and i love the Broadway floor plan. Closets and rooms are spacious as well. The reason I would rate this complex three stars is because of the issues my roommate and I experienced. I have lived at this complex since August 2021 and numerous issues had arose, although resolved, after numerous attempts to fix them and lack of communication regarding the status of them. Some including a persistent ant problem which made pest control visit three times, dip in my mattress upon move in that took a month to replace, refrigerator breaking causing my groceries to go bad, and light bulbs going out within the first month of moving in. Another con, which is my fault for lack of research, is that Uptown is the last stop on the busiest Texas State shuttle route. Despite these issues that were eventually resolved, I have to give a shout-out to the CA’s in the front office. Each time I would call or visit the front office they were always friendly and willing to have an actual conversation with me, unlike other CA’s at other complexes.

I have had the BEST experience living here at Uptown Square. The staff is remarkable! They even sent me chocolates to my door for Valentines Day. I've never had a more personalized experience. The apartments are great, no issues with bugs, loud noise or anything like that. Parking is super easy! The internet is free and fast. The pool speaks for itself just check out the photos. Shopping is super close (HEB, walmart and Target). Sign here if you want a great living experience while living in San Marcos.

Great staff, cozy rooms, great environment to learn and grow. The staff was able to give me a phenomenal tour of the property, prior to me signing my lease. I knew that Uptown was the spot for me when I saw the layout of the rooms. The immensities Uptown Square are super cool. I enjoy using the gym, and I am sure I will enjoy the pool very soon.
