They don't follow traffic procedures when pulling vehicle over or responding to an accident. They should help direct traffic flow to keep the highways safe, instead they gather and talk without a single officer aiding in impeded flow of traffic, increases chances of another accident. Today an Officer risked his own life by not wearing his high visibility vest and putting rear cones before cones closest to on-coming traffic with 3 other officers also without high visibility vests. All were in the shade of an overpass barely visible. Their patrol cars were, but the individuals standing toward on coming traffic were not.

Office Tye is an absolute disgrace as well as a self admitted liar. He's arrogant and condescending and should never have power over anyone.
Scott Mason
"law enforcement" who know nothing about basic law. Force individuals out of a public buildings without reason. Not only that, condescending, hypocritical, and about as ignorant as they come.
Chris Cary
Officer J Tye is a tyrannical p.o.s. who cares nothing about citizens rights and is smug about it. Worst officer ever

If they are mud and snow and they will have a icon with a mountain with a snow flake in it then most of the time you are good to go. It depends on the road conditions and the amount of snow coming down at any given time. Some times you are required to install chains or cables as well. All season tires more than likely will need chains at least on the rear of your 4x4 truck. It depends on the trooper or other law enforcement office to check your vehicle's tires to be sure you are safe to continue on. Check the road report before you start out over the mountain would be the best thing to do before you decide to start your trip. Be informed and drive cautiously.
Yes Vehicles in Nevada have to be registered each year. how ever the the large number on the sticker is the Month of which the vehicle is to be renewed the year is in smaller print on the side of the sticker.
