My notary was up for renewal in August 2021. I wasn't sure of the hours and how things would be handled during this time of uncertainty . Not only was I able to get an appointment, but the professional and courtesy service I received made my day. I was greeted with a smile and the clerk took great care of me. Call the County Clerk/Board of Elections office in Paterson. Just Google Passaic County Clerk's office and call them before 4 pm. You can also get a provisional ballot on election day at your voting poll place. A mail in ballot should have been sent to you if you are registered. Your polling place location should be sent to you on a postcard, if you are registered. If you are not registered, you won't get a ballot, but you can find your polling place on line based on your address..
Go to the Town Hall of the city you recide, apply for your marriage license. Once you have it, handed to your Wedding Officiant/Ordain Minister. Should be completed & later sign during the ceremony by witnesses & Wdng Ofcnt. HERE in Jersey, it consist of 4 small pages. The two ORIGINAL PAGES (Top 2) MUST BE RETURN TO THE TOWN HALL OF THE CITY WHERE THE CEREMONY TOOK PLACE (Vital Statistic Dept.) Should be mailed or hand in person by the Wedding Ofcnt. You can ALWAYS call the CITY CLERKS ofc of the Town you will be marry in. Hope this helps.
