Lord of the flies but with killer flies instead of children. If you want your dogs to be murdered by flies comm'on down. The campground is great, beach is nice but crowded would have spent the night if it wasn't for the swarm of biting flies.

Camping fee + state fee to stay at this campground. Full hookups, with leveled sites. Poor maintained, dirty bathroom, overflowed trash bins, and too much happening with people coming and going. Felt unsafe and at arrival (6pm) our reserved site was still occupied and have to tell people that we had a reservation. 30 minutes wait for site to clear up. If you have an issue, you are given the sheriff office number. The view of the lake and white sand is incredible with ton of people camping by the lake. 20 minutes to the city.

Camping right on beautiful sandy beaches for pretty cheap. Tractor services for pulling out your vehicle / trailer if you happen to get stuck, or just want them to place your 5th wheel for you.

Great place to spend time with family and friends. Just wish some people weren't such slobs leaving trash everywhere. Other than that it is a beautiful park.

It appeared to be when we were there last month. Just paid fee and went to a site. No open bathrooms to be found.
Signs say no. But basically if your not beligerant no one will bother you. Almost everyone we saw was drinking.

Very close. Stones throw from the closest half of campground. Very nice. More trees would be good.
