My original experience with this group was amazing, but after the first two female doctors left the practice abruptly that's when things changed. I am housebound at this point and live with multiple conditions that cause great pain. I tried the injections, I tried different meds and the doctors all suggested opiates. I was even told by Dr. Shah when I came in every appt. asking what could be added to reduce the opiate dose that there were NSAIDs and there were opiates and unfortunately that's about it. At first my treatment from them didn't change, but the longer I was on that opiate script the worse and worse they began to treat me. On top of that being a wheelchair user this location is just inaccessible. No automatic doors, you have to pop a wheelie to get in which is a big problem when your joints come out of place, and even though the first 5-6 scripts were given completely virtual and I used to be able to call and speak to my female doctors and ask questions or have slight script changes all of a sudden that was totally out of the question despite knowing that I'm housebound and that their front building is inaccessible. They don't do examinations, they don't do bloodwork, they don't even send out for bloodwork and yet there is apparently no room for accommodations on a case by case basis. Find help elsewhere if you are disabled.

I have been experiencing back, hip and leg pain for over a year. My primary care doctor referred me to specialist who ordered a series of test and prescribed several prescriptions for which did not help. I was then referred to Carolina Pain Center where I saw Dr. Shah. He thoroughly reviewed my medical chart and examined and asked me questions about my issues. He came up with a treatment plan and after the first treatment, I am feeling better. I would recommend anyone who is having excruciating pain and haven't been able to get any relief to make an appointment with Dr. Shah you want be disappointed.

I have been a patient with CPC for 2 years now. I have been to the Charlotte and Huntersville locations. I am very pleased with the quality of care that I have received from both locations! Dr. Shah is great with explaining everything he is doing during my RFA’s. Melissa Epstein is the most understanding PA. She explains everything as well as showing her genuine concern for my well being. My only issue is that it is hard to navigate there phone system and like most doctors offices it is hard to get a live voice when calling about pre auth’s and clinical questions. You always have to leave a message or the mailbox does not exist.

I went to the charlotte office of Carolina Pain Center the receptionist is very rude she charged me for services that my insurer pays for. I don't know who is the wise guy but you are really truly a great person ,to someone just a hater to myself.Have a great Monday oops must have looked up.
They ABSOLUTELY DO NOT!! They're nothing but nice to me! Don't take this person's word for it. I promise, if you are going there for a legitimate reason and not pill shopping, they'll be extra nice to you..
