Editing my past review, but previously would go a lot of times and either who I assume was the owner would try to engage in unprompted political discussions, which was not the worst thing. One of the times I went, I checked out their Christian section for the first time to get more theology books and I noticed the posters they had on the wall at the time were very insensitive towards Muslims. That was the last time that I went there. Other than that, they had a good selection of books at a good price. But I couldn't stomach the types of statements being made.

I'm on the fence already about writing this review because I am not a bookworm and came for the movies of which the owner says there are well over 8,000! Firstly kudos to the organization of this place. Utilizing their limited space as best they can they are literally overflowing with books. But everything has a place and is in it's place. Movie prices at the moment are $1.95 per DVD and $3.95 per Blu-ray these are high considering most Pawn Shops sell DVDs for $1 regardless of condition and blu-rays vary between $2-$3.50 each this includes Goodwill. If you're buying boxed sets or tv seasons the prices start at $5.95 and up. Their movies are separated by the following genre: Kids/Childrens(at the door when you walk in), Christmas, Religious, Classic movies(20's-60's), Popular Horror(which isn't with the bulk of the movies but in the same room), TV Seasons, Westerns(which for some reason is in the very back of the store), then you have Numerical titles(movies that start with a number) and lastly regular population movies that start with the letter A and end with the letter Z. They took all that time to separate the others I would just go ahead with the rest like Sci-Fi, Action, Drama/Suspense, James Bond, Military and so on. I recommend you check the quality of the discs before purchasing as many of the discs were somewhat scratched or had fingerprints. This is frowned upon by the Owner. He also DOES NOT like you looking through the cases, even though they are empty. Also as a movie collector the Owner tells me he tosses slipcovers for movies unless they are part of a special edition this is like nails on a chalkboard for collectors but this doesn't mean much to the Owner. Also the Owner told me he has boxes of movies he can't put out due to no shelf space but when I asked if I could check them out before I paid the Owner turned me down and says to come back. But if you have limited space how long is it going to take to put out boxes of movies? Lastly I was very friendly and cordial with the Owner but for whatever the reason the Owner was abrasive and acted like he didn't care what I thought or suggested or spent even. He was nice and friendly to several other customers that entered, he even chatted them up but he seemed stern with me and for no reason. Call it a quirk. It's been over a year since I shopped there and after today's experience it may be another year before I go back. But if you're a book lover or looking for a lost movie title give them a chance.
