This place never fails to satisfy. My wife and I had our wedding reception here 8 years ago, and came tonight for fish fry. They have a great little salad bar, and a good selection of various entrees. HIGHLY recommend this place for a nice meal in a quaint rustic setting.

We decided to try Rex's as it was only 30 minutes from our home, but we wanted a new experience. We greatly enjoyed ourselves! The hostess, Lolly, was wonderful with her sense of humor. Overall the service was good. The salad bar was FANTASTIC with everything you wish a salad bar had, (pickled herring and beets, homemade soups and cheese), fresh bread at your table. The old fashioneds were great, including the mushrooms! My husband and I ordered the prime rib. Overall it was good- but it appeared like the outside seasoning/flavor was shaved off which seemed a little odd. Thankfully it was still delicious! Our friend ordered the ribeye and unfortunately the flavor was lacking with needing to add salt and pepper. Our steaks were a bit overdone, but not ruined by any means. The bartender Tish made great grasshoppers as well! The environment was friendly and clean. You really get the supper club experience while here! We will definitely be back. The overall experience was wonderful!😊

Huge supperclub. It has a 1400's Germanic castle theme vibe to it. Large salad bar.

Ok first of all I have worked in the industry for 15+ years, from the dive bars to the finest of the fine. We started at the bar good service and good drinks. Moved to the dining room for dinner and that’s where everything that could go wrong did. Ordered my filet medium rare, came out medium well. Sent it back and the next time it came out RARE! Which is fine by me but people who want a medium rare would have never ate this, as it was cool in the middle. My boyfriend ordered his prime rib medium rare came out kinda medium but mostly medium well. Server asked to recook it he said forget it. His drink was empty when she checked in on our meal and never asked if he wanted another one. My drink was empty when she dropped off my second steak and never asked if I wanted another one, easy add on to the bill. Shrimp was WAY over cooked! Salad bar had a nice selection but that is about the only nice thing about this place. Will not go back and will not recommend it to anyone. When I’m paying 80+ for dinner it should be right the first time. Sorry but it shouldn’t be that hard.
