This place isn't bad, but I'm not going to say my experience was good. The apartment itself was fine. For $1100 a month in Asheville comparatively is pretty cheap. But the apartments are older, and the area around towards Patton Avenue is honestly pretty ghetto. Staff was usually pretty nice and easy to get in touch with. Maintenance was always quick so no real massive complaints. My biggest issue was the move out. I moved out 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten my deposit back. Also I wasn't given back my full deposit and was charged $225 for countertop resurfacing, on laminate countertops. Which you CANNOT resurface. Makes me wonder how many people have been wrongly charged. But either way, The Meadows is fine. However, wouldn't recommend Asheville.

I adored the complex itself. If you ever have the misfortune of working with ALLYSA CUEVES BEWARE! The rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. The office constantly misplaces their files. Keep a hard copy of all your payments or they will take advantage of you. Maintenance was friendly. 5/5 location and great dumpster finds. Missing stars because of the atrocious attitude ALLYSA CUEVES thinks is acceptable office behavior.

I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for an apartment. It’s great location and the apartments are kept in good shape. This past summer they renovated one of the pools and made it much nicer. The gym is a decent size too. The staff has never been anything but respectful to me. Both Glenda and Sam are great.
