I have most of my doctors with Langone and have been extremely satisfy. My experience with the dermatologist at the 38th st location has been frustrating. On my first visit I was waiting in the exam room for about 35min till a resident showed up. An Asian doctor later showed up and examined me for about 5 minutes. After that I called the office and left 4 messages wondering if my insurance would pay for the procedure for following visit. I was first seeing by a resident that said “if you were my mom I would tell you not to do this procedure” which is an unpleasant comment to me. The doctors than decided to instead of shaving and removing some “wounds” on my scalp they would use nitrogen’s. I will never go back to this facility and would not recommend to anyone to do so. I'm sure it all depends on your doctor, but I can tell you getting off the tunnel and it's right there on your right makes it super convenient to get to from long island. My doctor was amazing and the place was very sterile clean and efficient. Highly recommend.
