I got the smallest, least expensive room for $145, it would have been nice to know that no internet, cell service, or room phone was included. Nice to disconnect but as a solo traveler I actually felt a little uneasy about that. The pools were not hot, only warm. Coffee and ice were available but not until 8 am so very inconvenient if you want to travel early. Great food in the restaurant (which is separately owned) and beautiful area

No cell reception or wifi. Very quiet and nice. Hot tub was nice. They do have a limited breakfast but you have to wait until 830 to get it. If you're traveling its very inconvenient. They need to install black out curtains in the rooms, its very bright in the rooms.

Positive: I loved the seclusion and quiet! A beautiful mtn. setting, with a pleasant and always helpful staff! Nice hot springs in the lodge with towels and games available there as well. Dinning next door in the restaurant was quick and easy with GREAT food!

We have stayed at the lodge many times and have always had an amazing experience. We love not having Wi-Fi in the rooms and being able to get DVDs and games from the lobby to take to the rooms. The manager and front desk/housekeeping have always gone above and beyond for us. We also liked having time in the evening for just adults in the pools.

This time of year? Snow shoeing, snow mobility, cross country skiing. During warm months? Hiking, fishing, camping, horse back riding, crystal hunting.what kind of events are you looking for?
yes! we are super pet friendly! we allow up to 3 (three) animals with a $25 pet fee to cover any and all additional cleaning and laundering required to ensure the following guests enjoy their stay too! we only ask that if you know your animals have a tendency to yell loudly, that you do not leave them unattended in your room potentially disturbing other guests, and that when on the grounds, you don't tie them up and leave them unattended. of course, please do remember (since this is in an undeveloped and still very much wild area) please be respectful and cautious of any local wildlife and threats you may come across. we do not have a specific building we would place you in, that may have been a previous manager's method of operations. you'll be placed according to your original reservation's preference of room that you selected. either a king, double queen, family size, or single queen. over all, as long as they mind their manners or are leashed, your furry family is welcome here!
