Pavement throughout camp ground. Very nice, spacious plenty of shade.there is water and restrooms. There is a nice running creek on the south side of the camp ground. I stayed in spot #12 wonderful . I parked my 40 foot fithwheel no problems. Forrest service ran. $15.00 nightly. Enjoy!!!

Stunning view of Saint Joseph Peak farther back on the trail. Moderately easy hike

Super trail for wildlife: wildflowers, fungi, birds, lichen and butterflies. Go slow on hike...look up, down and all around. And yes use your ears to guide your eyes to see the birds singingπ

One of my favorite little trails to go on the inclines followed by the flats help you get back into decent hiking shape without feeling like your going to die. After the little pond it levels off nicely for a good long ways. My 5 year old has no problems on any part of this trail so I would say its kid friendly.

Lots of campsites in the off season, but it fills up in the summer. Call US Forest Service, Stevensville Ranger Station at 406 777-5461for specific information.
