Had the best time with my 4 year old. My only complaint would be the bathrooms all close at 4. Seems crazy early to me.

Beautiful paved trail to ride your bike or walk on. Well maintained and excellent way to enjoy getting some exercise and take advantage of being in nature.

A multi use paved trail that is well maintained and is shaded part of the way. Plenty of trailheads to start on and ample parking. Covered picnic tables and a free air pump if needed for cyclists.

This is our go to park anytime of the year. It's relaxing, has picnic tables with outlets, boatramps, swimming and dog friendly.

8.1 mile asphalt trail
It ends at Whiting field but you can turnaround anytime in between. It doesn't loop around.
Motorized transportation isn't allowed on the trail.
Yes there is. Next to certain restrooms.
I believe the blackwater portion of the trail is about 8 mi and then I think there is an additional 1.5 mi or so trail that is part of the whiting military trail
