They stay couldn’t even happen because they cancelled our room and claimed they called us. We had no missed calls or voicemails to let us know. The room was paid through Expedia, but they claimed our credit card was denied. Doesn’t make any sense. Terrible experience and I would not recommend booking a place that won’t hold your room or even contact you to let you know they are cancelling.

The room was clean and spacious. I have a tendency to check everything upon entering a hotel room. Americinn’s location is pretty nice; a little further away from the bars in town than the other hotels while still within the walking distance to everything. Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, bagels and etc. Minus 1 point for the elevator and noise; it has this strong funky smells every time I get in the elevator. The wall insulation was not that great or maybe the person next to me just likes to watch TV very loud. Overall, I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I ever come back to visit Medora.

Visited early June, beginning of tourist season. Normally the first week or so everything should be in top shape from a full off season of catching up. Room was dirty, dated, and loud. We could hear people in other rooms like they were right next to us. Not only the people across the hall but people above us and in the “conference room” on the backside of our room. We also had an elevator close by that shook the wall every time it was used. All night long the wall would vibrate and you could hear the elevator motors humming away. The carpets appeared to be vacuumed but the walls were scuffed and chipped all over. To top it off the shower had a pre-used bandaid stuck to the wall….

3 night stay No room service, had to go get our own supplies. They said it was do to short staffing. Constant problem wirh our key cards not working. Had to keep going to front desk . At check out time our room prices were different for all three nights. Nothing was mentioned when we booked. We were told by front desk to deal with it.
