Hampton Inn & Suites Boise-Downtown

I stayed at the Hampton Inn& Suites in Downtown Boise with my two kids. We chose this location because it had a pool that was open n mid-May. According to my daughter it isn't a real vacation unless there is a pool. Overall the hotel was great. The front desk staff was attentive and accommodating. The entire facility was clean and full of additional amenities. The hotel breakfast was great. It met all of the kid's needs, between cereal, yogurt, waffles, muffins and more. The indoor pool was also nice and on arrival we had it all to ourselves, later in the weekend it got very busy. If the hotel had any drawback it was the group they had inhouse on Saturday night of our stay. It was a large high school group of some sort. The kids were all over the hotel, being teenagers. It wasn't an issue until night when they didn't settle down until past 2am. We had a particular group on our floor that kept running up and down the halls, yelling and slamming doors. We never complained, but it would be nice to have staff walking the hallways when groups of that nature are in house.

Room was clean. Staff was AMAZING!! We had a mix up with our room and they got us a new one right away and did everything to make it right. Will definitely go back. Pool was nice for the whole family. Breakfast was included and had a good selection.

Nice hotel. Parking (garage) is kind of hard when there is an accident around the hotel and they shut down the street so you can't get near the entrance. We circled around for an hour and finally parked a few blocks over and had to walk in but that's not the hotels fault. The front desk staff could be a little more friendly.

The lobby of this hotel is very nice and clean. The staff very friendly. We were on the 8th floor in a suite. Spacious and with great views of the mountains. My only issue was more maintenance and housekeeping related. The sink in the wet bar struggles to drain if the faucet turned on. Items were left in the fridge upon our arrival. And the air vent is right next to the bed so every time it turned on, we were jolted awake by the loud noise of it heating or cooling. All in all a nice place in a great location.
