I signed up for the 2 hour basic fishing course. The staff was friendly and the informative course was very hands on. I enjoyed my time there and got to take home a rainbow trout

Can someone tell me their actual hours because google and the NJ game and wildlife website are totally different, I thought it was an open area that toy can access and I went on a early Saturday afternoon and they were closed , no one answers the phone even during the week as well.

Kind of upset bc they wont stock browns any more after this year all done not buying my fishing license anymore waste of money the trout or too small I had one trout that was sick done fish for good

Pequest does not take donations of fishing equipment.
You cannot fish on the property but may fish in the Pequest River at the front entrance. That stretch is a seasonal conservation stretch, so read the regulations prior to making the trip.
