Absolutely have loved this museum since they first opened in the 90s. Hate to see them close due to some new high rises that will be going in it’s place. I hope they find a permanent location soon. So much great NC history that should be shared.

Really cool museum! One thing about Charlotte is they have amazing museums. Levine had very informative exhibits there's alot to read through and a lot of cool things to see. It also a nice size museum. I didn't have time to get through the whole museum so I will definitely be back next time I'm in Charlotte.

I’m writing a book that deals with the Great Depression era in Charlotte.
I’m trying to find out where and who ran soup Kitchens, what schools were located in downtown Charlotte, and things like that. Can I find these at the Levine?

Good Morning Jack, I am interested in 1929 in Charlotte, NC too. Have you found any sources of information about the Great Depression era in Charlotte? thanks, Ginny
$9 for adults, $7 for students and educators, $5 for children 6-18.
I have an old sewing machine skeleton, very heavy and cool. Wondering if you could use, knowing that you are officially closing your physical museum. Or any other museum?

I don't know the schedule, but it is a great educational venue to learn about human and civil rights. Enjoy.
