It is truly sad to see how the office staff communicates with patients. I’m not sure who answered the phone this morning, but she was rude and acted as if she didn’t want to be on the phone. I have never had a problem in the 6 years I’ve attended this office until today trying to schedule an appt. If the office closes at 6 then there needs to be appointments available after 4:15 due to patients having jobs, children, etc that need to have later appointments. I’m unable to use my lunch to go to the doctor because it is a short lunch. My call was disconnected and when I tried to call back I was left in the queue for 15 minutes. I normally wouldn’t have a problem with that but I called back as soon as the call was disconnected.

Whoever was assigned to make appointments around 2:30 on 5/3 needs to never have that assignment again. Called with the simplest of questions and she was extremely rude and acted like she didn’t want to be on the phone. Hung up on me before I could complete my inquiry. I’ve had good experiences for the most part but that was enough for me to not bother to make an appointment ever again.

Before I went to the Clinic for my "Test Results", a Lady Worker at the Clinic called me to confirm my appointment - here, honestly speaking, and to say the least, our conversation appeared to turn sour and somehow confrontational. Overhearing her Voice at the background therefore, Dr. Magdalena Marfo immediately intervened with a completely new attitude that "sounds" - much more professional, tactful and skillful. The entire discourse changed instantly and the atmosphere perfumed with a sweet aroma of true hospitality - tactfully and very positively too. Though very brief, our discussion dynamics played out to be mutually helpful only to be followed up by a promise from her to me to come back for yet another scan to be performed this time round by "me myself" - this humble-sounding, smart and professional, career and African female Medical Doctor. She knows how to handle her patients with GREAT RESPECT - tact, Wisdom and professional smartness. N-O-W, I am returning to this same (Calvary Medical Clinic) facility with a completely new attitude of dignity, self-worth and respect - and above all, ready to give out the same outstanding testimony to whoever I will meet therein. There are still good people - I mean, excellent professionals out there, my friends. "NarBerNar", Ph.D (NARH, Bernard K)
