The gospel according to Burnt Church is distilled into an art and craftmanship which pulses through every fiber of this full body experience which starts at the door. Crossing the threshold from the outside world the designers draw your eye to the center bar and use the large stained glass window beyond to continue the overawing effect and draw your eyes upward and your body forward. Which is why it is easy to miss the details of a gift shop and a casual/historic space on either side. The attention to detail displayed throughout the building is not lost on the cocktails or spirits available for purchase. Each cocktail is a carefully crafted journey to be experience. That experience is expanded as you discover the true life stories behind the spirit in each drink. I often recommend places but rarely declare any place "can't miss," but in this case the gospel is too good to pass up and this place is an absolute can't miss spot for any fan of great liquor and great stories.
