The overlook at the Caesar's Head State Park Visitor's Center is not to be missed. The view of the surrounding landscape is stunning and the walk through Devil's Kitchen is a wonderful experience.

We are not hiking people, and the winding roads to this location had us a bit scared, but the views were breath taking and the 'Devils kitchen' was way cool, highly recommend and worth the trip

Winter is a great time to visit. There are less crowds and the air has less humidity making the view more clear.
Great question. We got there mid morning. I'm not sure... It would be beautiful at sunrise though. They open at 10am. I just checked.
There are vending machines at the entrance of the restrooms
Yes! Though parts of the pass through hells kitchen and on the rock may not be as good for large dogs.
Questions are answered in public forum here, not by actual site.
You could get onto the board walk but the overlook and devil's kitchen would not be accessible. There's pretty views from the board walk though.
No, but it's busier at sunset because the views are magical
There are hotels in Brevard, NC that is near Caesar's Head State Park. It is pet friendly just make sure they are on a leash.
I would say late afternoon as you look west from the viewing area
There's no campground or hotel next to Ceasar's Head. There's an option to stay at Flat Rock State Park campground and drive from there (about 30 minutes)
3 to 5 min. Not long at all.
Yes. They're starting to change, but I would wait another week or so. First week of November should be perfect.
Yes, not sure what the question is here. But is is and easy site seeing spot. Great for kids and elderly
The dismal is a forested valley between raven cliff mountain and Caesars head mountain that was dark and densely forested. when the early Europeans entered this area they said it was dismal. There is not a trail called the dismal that is part of a 9 mile extremely strenuous loop many refer to as the dismal loop. It is very appropriately named. Takes anywhere from 5 to 10 hours to hike and they recommend you carry a gallon of water per person in the summer if you are going to attempt it.
no, you can not gather firewood within the park except for what is used while you are camping.
I would check the website. Friday probably open
Not yet, peak will probably be around Thanksgiving.
If you can make it a two day trip i would do them all. The falls a table Rock are even better and its only about 30 miles from Caesars
There is trailside camping allowed. 18 sites but nat all allow fire. Google the sc state park website for more info
