I attend St Johannes Lutheran Church. The people are so friendly and loving. They are a small in size but, large in outreach. If you’re wanting an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ then this is the place you’ll find Him. . The people here have experienced trials in their life and are living testimonies of God’s faithfulness and love. You’re missing a secret treasure by not attending a service here.

This is a really great downtown church with an informal, welcoming congregation. All are welcome and by that the pastor and the members do indeed mean "all". The sanctuary has the absolute best acoustics in town. When the German immigrant community built this church in the 1800's they didn't have sound engineers but the acoustics when the choir sings attest to the fact that they knew what they were doing. Whether you are just passing through as a tourist on a Sunday or are now a resident of this beautiful southern city called Charleston you should stop by and check it out.
