Purchasing Manager
I have been attempting to call for a week. No one ever answers the phone even during the office hours posted on the website. The mailbox is always full and you cannot leave a message. How are you supposed to contact these people?

I been living in Cedar Walk apartments since February 2016 and I don’t like to complain but, I have been calling since November 2021 before thanksgiving to have my bathroom wall finished and it has not been done yet and here it is January 2022 , I constantly get the run around and I explained to them that I have Asthma I’m Disabled and have been since 2010 I shouldn’t have to be using my Nebulizer everyday, also the Website for the Rent payments I spoke to Mrs Regina Davis and I paid my rent ever since 12/29/21 for January but when I spoke to Mrs Tonya she said the Accounting Dept was backed up putting in the information and when January came it was saying that I owed rent and late fees and when Mrs Regina called me back she said that they couldn’t find my rent payment in which I dropped off in Drop box. I went and got a money order and Mrs Regina said that she wouldn’t charge late fee, but the website still got me owing Rent and late fees, and I keep calling but getting the run around especially about my bathroom wall being finished.

This is not a place to call home. This is a business!! That is the CEO Melanie Thompson’s Favorite words. This apartment needs to be investigated. They send late rent letters threatening to evict if you don’t pay. Even tho you’ve already payed. Regina Davis is the New Property Manager and she’s already being nasty to the residents. Melanie Thompson throw innocent families out on the streets and allow the violators to stay on the property. She will make up lies on anyone if they start asking questions. Or if you complain on one of her friends. It’s sad.

Sharon, Currently, we have no available units; therefore, the waiting list is closed and we are not accepting applications. Please contact the United Way of the Coastal Empire Liberty County office at (912) 368-4282 for referrals to local apartment complexes and housing programs.
Thank you for contacting the Hinesville Housing Authority. Our communities are managed by the Hineshouse Property Management & Maintenance Services. We are a subsidized housing agency; therefore, the rent is based on income and bedrooms needed (only two people per bedroom allowed). Currently, we have no available units, and we are working off a waiting list with a wait period of one to two years. However, please submit an application because we are in the process of purging our waiting list, which may reduce the wait time. Our housing application can be found online at https://hinesvillehousingauthority.org/residents/application/. You will need a state-issued ID to apply (each adult member must present an ID). There is no fee to apply. When we receive your completed application, you will be placed on the waiting list. When your name gets closer to the top of the list, more information will be requested. For more information, please call (912) 368-3466.
We use annualized consumption rates to set the limits. Here is some more information about the HUD process we use - https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/public_indian_housing/programs/ph/phecc/allowances2
Please call 912-368-3466 and follow the prompts to contact our offices.
