I had a scare with symptoms of flashing light and sudden onset of floaters that could have indicated a retinal detachment or tear. I did not have a regular optometrist. I went to Eye Mart in Sumter and Dr. Buck was kind enough to see me the same day. He took his time during the exam, and I was especially grateful for his thorough explanation of what was happening. He even made sure I received written material on what had occurred within my eye. He never acted rushed or inconvenienced. He never made me feel like I had over-reacted. His reception staff was very kind and did not brush me off when I explained my concerns and went the second mile to be helpful. His optometry assistant was also very kind and patient, and helpful with the insurance. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in a scary situation. My husband and I will both be back in September for full comprehensive exams. Thank you Dr. Buck and staff.

Yes, but call first to ensure they are not too busy. Also, be sure you ask if a doctor is in if you need an exam.
Yes they do prescription sunglasses. And they have a whole Shelf/ whole corner of the store of different styles and designs and designers as well. You will love them and their prices too. I know I practically live in there and I got my 2 pairs of glasses from there as well. Please go check them out. You won't be sorry I promise. 😍
