My sons grandparents took our son this year and I was so very amazed at the kindness and thought put into this event! My son came home so happy with his free adopted elf with paperwork, and he got to mail a letter to Santa to which he got a reply back from Santa himself! He was one happy little fella!

You can get out but mainly its a show you just park and watch! It's very nice.
its a park and watch event...there are several rows of parking spots but its worth waiting to get a spot up front! i am honestly not sure about the carriage rides...i know they do normally have food and drink vendors but we went on Thanksgiving so none of these things were going on...🤔
If it's Cold stay in the car bring some coffee or hot chocolate great show
