incredibly nervous about this distribution center, ordered my package 9/2/22, and its been about two weeks. it had no problem going from a completely different continent to Las Vegas, and Las Vegas to Atlanta. I had a slight problem with it going to Greenville, I just thought it would be delivered to me after leaving Atlanta. Iβve never had any past packages delivered with USPS, so this is my first time. Usually, my package would be on the move a day later. Itβs practically stuck here, because its been two days. Very disappointed by reading the reviews, do better.

They are terrible! I'm literally 5 minutes from the distribution center and they will have a package for days and not deliver it...smh

So my guess is y'all don't work during the day shift? I thought my package was stolen because it was supposed to arrived yesterday watching the tracking... But I guess it's just due to lazy workers at this facility smh!

Got in unloaded quickly. π

Same with my eBay order. Stuck since December 1. Still no signs of movement!! Tried to contact USPS Greenville directly but all I got was a full mailbox.
Did it ever arrive?
Not at the plant directly for question regarding tracking. But you should be able to go to your local branch and speak to a rep or manager there where they can see if movement has been made on that piece of mail.
No
Me too 2 Christmas presents been stuck there and havenβt moved
I have a package I sent to someone in Piedmont SC & its been sitting in Greenville, SC since December 12th. Tried to call & got a full mailbox as well. This is now 29 days that is sitting in this facility.
Whats the tracking number and how did you mail it Priority or first Class
That seems to be the 64000 dollar question! Waiting on one that appears to be stuck at that facility for 10 days now. I'm less than 2 hours away!
I have same issue with a book. Did you finally receive it?
Wherever you mailed the package. As far as I know you cant. You have to contact the mail facility you mailed it at.
NO Though this is a Postal Facility it is NOT open to the public
You can not pick up mail it's a processing facility
I talked to my wife cause she works there and she said that's there really not a number to try and get a hold of any one. On the south side of building u might be able to talk to some one. They used to have someone right thereby the door to help people out
Did it ever arrive?
The package could have been addressed improperly for example if the zip code numbers were mixed up or out of order or just simply the package could have been placed in the wrong container by accident which will cause the package to bounce around from distribution center to distribution center and post office to post office. Rest assured postal employees want you to receive your packages as much as you do
To be honest with you mail moves swiftly at this facility. Some issues involve unusual packaging and sorters will sometimes reject them. Other than that, I would personally do a mail search for you but I'm currently on sick leave. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm sure your issue will be resolve shortly.
If you are local its best to visit the facility.
Theres so many packages there. First of all they should have never consolidated asheville with greenville because they cannot process it and get the mail out on time
Don't know what you are talking about
That happens all over the country, but if your talking about the usps property id have to disagree respectively, because I haul the us mail and that is my route and due to the virus and people buying on line made the postal service look like they were 6 months behind on deliveries so that would be one reason for people's mail not being there
My package has been there since December 11th. We have contacted the post master. We have a missing package claim open and an insurance claim. I just want my package though and it is so upsetting that there are so many people in the same boat as me. You can't tell me you hired enough people for Christmas and covid when there are so many of us asking about our packages that have been stuck there throughout December. I used to stick up for the post office regularly and now the only 2 things I purchased that were being delivered through the post office are stuck in distribution centers. I get life is hard right now and there are new employees and such terrible things going on in the world but has everyone lost their pride in their selves and the work they do. I don't need a job. I have an amazing career where I work hard and am efficient. Im proud of the work I do. Can these distribution employees say the same about themselves?
We work hard every day to make sure we get the mail out on time....until u work their you don't understand how we go up about and beyond for our customers they come first every day...whenever we fall short at work we are working long hours to get the mail out...with covid going on we still come to work and people don't understand we put ourselves at risk every day to make sure our customers get their mail and package we are short handed but we do our best to get the mail out...
Nope.
Im sorry, did I send it to someone that doesn't work there. I finally saw a place for a comment on their facebook page, and thought I was asking them. Sorry
No that package can be anywhere !I know you are not happy but the whole warehouse is fill with packages hat need to be done!Mail handler are working fast as that could to get everyone their package! Apologize for the delay
Right now the post office is very behind with the increased volume due to covid 19 and holidays.
This place sucks
Sign up for Informed Delivery and you can see when it will arrive, or use the tracking number on the USPS Website to get detailed progress information
There isn't working number my wife works there
I believe they do. Those jobs are NOT easy to get. Especially for a government position
No, 204 Fairforest way is a distribution center
Go the USPS website and ask for or write to or contact a postal inspector. If you really need to contact that distribution center you should be able to find its telephone number there as well Good luck
The POST office can be tough to deal with. Your best bet from my past experience is to file a claim/notice online at USPS.com then when you get a reference number call their 800 number. In medium to larger cities the Post office is somewhat unresponsive
Did you ever receive your item???
