For the $140/night the rooms could use more updating, and our shower wasn't the cleanest. Service was fast and the location is very convenient. Comparable to maybe a $90/night room. I'd consider staying again.

We didn't stay at the lodge, but we did eat here. The decor is classic and interesting. The staff is amazingly courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I am not usually in favor of buffets, but this was an exception. Staff kept it clean and came around often to offer drink refills. Perfect for families.

Stayed in the Woodland Cabins- they were quiet and had free wifi. I could hear people next to us but just a cough every now and then- not them talking/tv. Bathroom has heat which was cool!

Beautiful location but definitely getting frayed around the edges. If it wasn't for the wonderful scenery, I would rate the lodge at not more than 3 stars. The thermostat in our room did not work - ended up completely turning off the system because our room was too hot even with the setting at 64 F. The dinner buffet was definitely not worth the price - worst pinto beans I've ever tasted. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the free breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy and more - much better than any free breakfast you get at comparably priced hotels. As an added bonus, when we were driving out of the parking, I looked up and saw a Bald Eagle soaring high above the lodge. Maybe you can spot it in my photo if you zoom it in?
