I went for a pap smear, was refused and pushed several pharmaceutical options as well as an IUD. They're a great option but completely unrelated to the reason I went in for a visit. I expressed that I was concerned with not getting a pap and he said to think about the IUD and come back when I was ready. Then I could get the pap I'd come for. I was billed with 2 different codes including getting advisement on the IUD I didn't ask for, want, or consider getting. I am working to appeal the claims now. The Dr didn't listen and was negligent.

Angela Richardson Dempsey-Fanning was the absolute worse doctor I have ever met in my life. Without going into detail about my child. But she is 16 and I was told she is considered an adult at MUSC and I was not allowed to make any medical decisions for her. She has to be the one to make those decisions. When she came in to speak with us she would disregard my question and cut me off mid sentence and begin speaking to my daughter about something completely different. She also told my daughter she was not worried about the reason for the visit ( which by the way is life threatening. Found out by another doctor at different office) that our problem was that we were not vaccinated and needed to be tested for COVID-19 and then get vaccinated then we would worry about the other thing. And the issue has nothing to due with any thing related to COVID symptoms. And overall very rude. Will never go back to that office

Horrible experience. Doctors are “training” and have no idea what they’re talking about. Complete waste of time. They charge hospital AND facility charges which is fraud. They charged me twice for an anatomy scan and charged me for services provided by a doctor I’ve never met. Will not be going back. Save your money and your time, find elsewhere.

I was diagnosed here with a severe infection and was put on multiple antibiotics. Ive since developed what I think are more infections which they said could happen from taking lots of antibiotics... but i dont know for sure and no one has seen me to confirm. I have sent messages on MyChart about my symptoms and if I need to come in to be seen, and I can see when they've read my messages so I know they've seen them all and still no one responds. I call leaving messages for staff saying no one is messaging me back and have never gotten a return phone call. Ive called to schedule a visit and no one can get me in. All that happens is I get a text from my pharmacy saying I have a prescription ready without them ever having seen me to confirm whats going on or even talking to me about it. I was seen in office once and was prescribed 3 meds and I've been prescribed another 4 without anyone having talked to me directly. Thats 7 meds and I don't even know what all these are for or if I actually need them all. I had symptoms of a UTI which was listed as a rare but serious side effect of my medication and again no one responded to my concerns. I had to call the emergency after hours Dr just to talk to someone about it and she prescribed me more meds again without having confirmed anything. I messaged them that all these meds are causing severe stomach upset for my breastfed baby and again the message was read but never responded to. They don't even care. This has all been truly the worst experience I've ever had at any doctors office and I rather pay out of network to see someone else. The "care" they provide is absolutely appalling and I don't trust them with my health at all. This has been a nightmare.
