I would really like to give you Zero stars but I can't. We had Southern Gas for 20 years no problems ever and now you come along and have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. And we have been waiting for weeks and you have been a no show when you said you are coming!! Now we will not have hot water soon so thanks for nothing we WILL be switching companies you are HORRIBLE!!

If I could give AmeriGas zero stars I would! I am canceling my service because your fees are outrageous and your customer service is awful! I had Southern gas for 15 years with no problems. You buy them out and loose me almost immediately!

I had my tanks filled up on Monday in my new York house Tuesday I checked it and one of the two tanks is empty These crooks are saying it full and won't meet me there to show me it's full I Asked for both tanks to be but on scale and they will not If you want all your heating gas during these difficult times with them ripping us down ff with price Amerigas is doing also by double charging you I have turned this over to my attorney

I want this review to be a thank you for the OLD Southern Gas (pre-Amerigas). The OLD company - PUBLICLY - most definitely 5 star! :) The service always made us feel as though we mattered and we were part of the community. I do hope that this review makes it back to that original staff. The staff was so good! I called once in the dead of winter when the tank was dry. They were here within 1 hour. Beyond the service in delivery - it was ALWAYS the same guys who came and ALWAYS came to my door, did safety checks and pilot checks. They knew my family (including my dogs), the previous owners and were the MOST AWESOME guys you could ask for to come to your home. The company was the epitome of southern manners, service and small town feel. Now...on to what happened with Amerigas. I waited a week. I was hung up on a customer service rep (up north - centralized). There was no communication with the local office at all. It is a true loss for Lancaster, SC. What did I get? When my delivery arrived - I had a long haired young man cut through my yard rather than come to the door. No safety check, no chat on the front porch. He hung the tag (Bill) on the door and left. Know what? It was my last delivery from them. I still shake my head at the loss of such a wonderful company in Lancaster. When I finally reached someone who spoke clear and fluent English and wanted to listen - I was told how much bettr things are now b/c everything is centralized. Well. I beg to differ and I will be researching other providers for my home. For all the staff who used to service the office in Lancaster - you are missed and your professionalism went above and beyond. Thank you.

Getting propane delivered to your home is easy and convenient. AmeriGas offers a variety of propane delivery options to fit your needs. If you are enrolled in our Automatic Delivery program, you do not need to contact us to request a delivery unless you've used more than expected and your tank reads 5% or below. Tell us when you need a refill - schedule a delivery 24/7 with our online Will Call service, available in your MyAmeriGas online account.
AmeriGas will work with you to install a new propane tank if you need one and service your existing one. This includes the basic inspections done at each delivery as well as requested maintenance and service to your bulk tank. While we do not install individual appliances, we may be able to help direct you.
"AmeriGas offers various payment options for your convenience. Automatic Payment: Have your payment automatically processed with our free automatic payment program. Log on to your MyAmeriGas online account to sign up! Pay Online: Pay your bill online, anytime, with no convenience fees. Once you log in to your MyAmeriGas online account, you will find options to pay yout bill on your account home page. Look for the blue ""Pay Bill Now"" button or links under the Billing and Payments navigation dropdown. Mail a Payment: Send your payment by mail. Mail your payment to us at the address listed on our invoice. Pay by Phone: Pay your AmeriGas bills by calling our service center 24/7 at 1-800-AmeriGas. We have an interactive voice response system that allows you to pay your bill, any time!"
Installation costs vary by the type of installation, the required amount of work and geography. The average cost for a customer-owned tank is $69.99 for the Service Dispatch Fee. The average cost for a standard installation or swap-out of an above ground tank is $250. There are additional costs if the tank needs to be buried or if additional work on gas lines needs to occur. Discounts may be available by location or promotion.
AmeriGas provides propane to power your home or your business, inside and out. This includes heating your home or business site, powering all of your propane appliances, and fueling work vehicles like forklifts and AutoGas fleets, including school busses. AmeriGas is also there with portable propane cylinders which power up anything from a barbeque grill to your restaurants patio heaters.
To order propane online, start by logging in to your MyAmeriGas online account and selecting 'Request a delivery' from the 'Deliveries' navigation drop down. Simply enter your request information to calculate your orders price and use the blue 'Place Order' button to complete the process. Ineligible customers will not see the 'Request a delivery' option from the 'Deliveries' navigation dropdown but can place an order by calling 1-800-AmeriGas. Forecast customers cannot place an order online, but can see if they have an open order or pending delivery.
"Setting up your online account is as easy as 1, 2, 3! All you will need is your AmeriGas account number and billing zip code. To get started, head to the AmeriGas website and click on the 'Login' button at the top of the page then select the 'Create an Account' button. Next, follow these three easy steps: 1. Identify yourself. The first step requires your account number and your zip code. New customers can find their account number on their paper bill. 2. Verify. In this step you will provide your name, phone number, and email address to confirm the account information. 3. Setup. Your email address will serve as your USERNAME and in this step you will set your password and security questions. That's it! Once your setup is complete, you'll review and accept the Online Terms of Use, and be able to enjoy all the conveniences of our online self-service."
In order to create your online MyAmeriGas account, you will need your account number. New customers can find their account number on their paper bill, or by calling customer service at 1-800-263-7442. Once you have created an MyAmeriGas online account you will also be able to access your account number anytime from your online account.
At this time, small commercial customers have the same options as residential Customers and can view history, make payment, and place an order online using MyAmeriGas. Currently, larger commercial customers can make payments online and have account managers available to them for in depth review of usage and billing histories.
You can pay your AmeriGas bill online, easily! Start by logging into your MyAmeriGas account. If you do not already have a MyAmeriGas online account you can quickly create one using your account number and zip code. Once logged in, use the "Pay Bill" link at the top of the screen or the blue "Pay Bill Now" button on your account homepage. Next you will be alerted that you will be moved to a third party site to make payments, use the blue "Continue" button to continue. From there, under the "Open Bills" tab select your outstanding bill and click "Pay Bill". You will be also be able to look at your payment history and invoices from this screen.
"If you need to exchange your grill tank cylinder, or just get a new one, we have a location near you! Visit the AmeriGas website and click on 'Find a Location' in the navigation bar for our location finder. In some areas, AmeriGas provides cylinder exchange right at your doorstep- through Cynch. Visit the Cynch website and enter your zip code to see if Cynch is in your neighborhood!"
