The staff is very courteous and generous with their time. We spent some time with 2 kitties we were considering to adopt. They allowed us to spend as much time as needed to make the right decision. The shelter is clean and all the animals are very well kept. Very nice place to find your next furry friend!

Good people doing good work! FOPAS needs our financial support now more than ever!

Before you head out be aware that there is a 5 to 10 day waiting period not listed on the site. Drove an hour to be told our application hadn't even been looked at yet.

Hi...Are you still looking to adopt?? If so, please contact me...I am an individual...not a shelter, and have fostered(ing) almost 20 different ages and types, just have not been able to complete the local listing yet. Thanks much...Karen. All cats...=^.^=
You can call them to see if they have available space.

Yes, I agree with John for this situation. However for future reference, FOPAS does rescue & accept animal surrenders upon Lynn's disgression. I hope you find your baby!
Call & ask for Lynn. She tries to help everyone; but she can't house all animals unfortunately. She'll do what she can to help you.
$200 it covers the cost of all there shots, getti g them fixed and also micro chipping....the site explains what adoption fee covers.
You can if Lynn happens to have an available space for him. But it stays full without more adoptions. This really should be your last option if you don't have friends or family who would want him. If this is your only option go there & hopefully space allows.
Yes. It's usually over capacity; but go and try as adoptions take place to make space. You need to go see Lynn at FOPAS not the actual Animal Shelter.
No. I would recommend Googling a Horse Rescue/Sanctuary. There are plenty of them throughout the US; but not this place. They are dogs/cats/small critters.
No, they aren't free. You do have to pay small adoption fees for medical/etc. It is usually around $100 or so. Lynn will work with you.
It is an independent rescue organization that tries to find homes for animals that are destined to be euthanized by the local animal shelter.
Friends of Perry animal shelter are no kill.
FOPAS Participates in adoption days at the Warner Robins Petsmart form 11 AM - 5 PM on Saturdays. You can go there and see all of the dogs and cats they have available. They are not open at their location because there are no animals there on Saturday they are all at Petsmart.
