Used to be a decent store but god forbid you tell the gm you donβt want to spend 800+ on a ps5 and get called a scalper π€£ said Iβm one of those that want to get it cheap. Yeah like the price PlayStation is selling them for

Great prices on refurbished consoles.

Been here a lot and everyone local that games has usually has been. I think my last 3 trips was like 2 for 3 so that is pretty solid. However when doing a trade in the rubber was broken on a 2 month old controller and it got the defective price. So unfortunately it took 3 ps5 controllers to get one new one. I was a bit surprised that every remote controller was deemed defective and that blame could go to some on Sony but I am not rating Sony so stick drift a stain and broken rubber made them all defective. Service and workers all A plus and cordial no complaint on stocking or anything else of that nature. I will add a star for this rating for the overall professional attitude.

Gamestop is not changing with the times. Small selection, no retro games, bad prices and some people that work there have bad small talk skills. If GameStop was smart they would get into selling old games in their stores. Like old PS1, PS2, Xbox original, N64, Gamecube, Super Nintendo, NES, Turbografx 16, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, Dreamcast, etc...etc...etc. The one store in Rockingham had one dude that was like a robot. All he could talk about was a bunch of company bs. He couldn't say one sentence with saying something about pre-orders, joining a members club or trade ins. Dude I just came to buy something. Pre-order are bs. The game is always gonna be on the shelf day one. No I'm not trading in my stuff for chump change and no I don't want to join no club where you have to buy $300 in stuff to save $5. Plus all GameStop's sell used games as new. Check it out next time you or your child gets a "new" game there. Where's the plastic on the game? Look at the game. Why is there smudges on the disc and bent corners on the papers inside the case. It's a fact (look it up) that it is company policy for employees to be able to take new games, open them and take them home and play them for a few days and then come back and sell them to customers as "new". If I buy something new I don't want any other Cheeto fingered dude touching my stuff. I want it to still be in the plastic and new as new can be. It's the principal of it. This should be illegal. Opening something, using it and then selling it as new when you're done. And the prices are ridiculous. The games are $10 to $20 higher than Walmart or other stores. Forget buying their old stuff
