You've been Smashed!!!!! I love this place. Great food and shakes. The location is down the street from Duke Hospital and is surround by apartments and condos. And if you a picky eater, their burgers ,etc. is customizable all the way down to the bun and cheese.

This place has really good burgers. The wait was a little long but not terrible. Food was fresh and everything was right. I wish we had a location closer to where I live.

I would usually give this place 5 stars easy!!! However when I went in last week I was turned completely off!!! I ordered my usual and the young lady who took my order was an absolute delight. As I was waiting on my food a young man , who worked there walked up playing in his hair. He picked up my bag and opened it as they were putting the food under the warmer. I told him he needed to wash his hands before handling my food because he was just playing in his hair. He turned to me and said, with an attitude, I’m putting on gloves and I told him that’s nasty you need to wash your hands along with wearing gloves. He did wash his hands and put the gloves on and the sweet girl that took my order witnessed the entire interaction and stepped in and bagged my food. The food was as usual good but that young guy and his attitude was a complete turn off!

Haven't been to a Smash Burger since a friend took me to one in Summerville SC a few years back. I was happy when I found this location in a recent trip to Duke Hospital. Will definitely be stopping by again.
