Hello everyone, I am posting this on behalf of my disabled brother as he has conveyed to me his desire to leave a review. Our mother passed away in November at her home in Savannah GA. It appeared to be natural causes as she was up there in age. The young man (Deputy Coroner) that came to my mother's home was very inconsiderate and was rushing us to pick a funeral home. Eventually we just had to google a funeral home really quick and we went with Campbell & Sons. Well after she was taken by this funeral home, my brother and I did a little more research and asking around the neighborhood, we discovered this Deputy Coroner along with a few others that work at Chatham County Coroner's office, also work at Campbell & Sons Funeral home. After this was discovered, we attempted unsuccessfully to contact the owner David Campbell at the funeral home. We then tried to contact him at the coroner's office to express our concerns. My brother had the phone on speaker when he finally was able to speak with David Campbell. Let me tell you ALL something, when I say this man David Campbell was so nasty, rude, obnoxious, and just flat out uncaring like you would never believe. We were rushed off the phone just like we were rushed to pick a funeral home, it was like Deja vu. We could not even ask a simple question about the death certificate. Here's what my brother and I believe is going on: We believe David Campbell is instructing his deputy coroner's to hurry people up to pick a funeral home, in order to pressure them into eventually picking CAMPBELL & SONS. My family will NEVER use David Campbell funeral home EVER AGAIN. For the people that choose to use his funeral home, all I can say is MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
